red spots on the inside skin of my penis

by junior920, Nov 04, 2008 12:54PM
Hi, I have a question that I have been having trouble finding a answer for it. Abut 2 years ago I was a virgin and had sex with a girl for the first time and did not use a condom neither did her. like two days later I was in the bathroom and looked at my inside skin of my penis and saw lots of red flat spots on my head and back of my penis and panicked  good thing my uncle who is a doctor was their  I told him what I did and told me he had to look at my penis he looked at it and told me it was fungus and I was releived, then he gave me a ointment to put on. I took that ointment for about a month and was not helping my redness and the red spots on my penis. So I went to another doctor here in  Tucson and took a look at it and gave me a ointment called Nystatin cream for antifungal purposes. I took that cream for about A month and it worked so I stopped putting the ointment on when the redness and red sots dissapeard. up to this date I have not been with another girl, since I am single I masturbate like almost every day. What I have noticed these past weeks that after I masturbate i get those red spots like an hour later I masturbate and I wonder why. So I just leave it and like two days later they dissapear by themselves without me having to put ointment on them. So I am stressing out and dont know what to do, why to you think this is happening do you think the fungus did not completely get off my penis, I hope you have an answer to my question, I know this is kind of long but this is the only way I can explain it! thanks

Junior, sorry it took so long for you to get an answer.

When you say the "on the inside skin of my penis" I assume that you're not circumcised. You seem to be having a recurring problem with fungal infections. This is not uncommon in uncircumcised guys. The key to preventing them is to make sure you keep yourself really, really clean down there. Every day when you shower, make sure you pull your foreskin back completely and wash the head of your penis with soap. Then, when you're drying yourself off, pull it back again and dry it really well. The key here is to make sure you keep it clean and dry.

Masturbation isn't causing it, but it might be irritating it, making it more noticeable afterward.

Finally, promise me you won't do the unprotected sex thing again.
