Sinus infection and TMJ

by joan41, Nov 04, 2008 05:01PM
Hello.  I went to the doc because of pain while chewing and swallowing.  I can't manage any solid foods, just pudding yogurt, ice cream etc.  She examined me and determined I have a sinus infection.  She prescribed amoxicillin for ten days.  Has anyone had a sinus infection along with or because of TMJ?  I was recently diagnosed with TMJ and don't know too much about it.  Any advice would be welcome.  Thanks

Sinus infection probably has nothing to do with tmd. Seeing a tmj specialist is advised.
