denial of orig. claims

by jpsirx, Nov 04, 2008 09:30PM
Hi,
My wife was working part time and we did not realize that she had medical coverage (in addition to mine). My carrier reversed many claims (some more than a year old) which were then submitted to my wifes carrier and BINGO!   Denials since the claims were more than 12 months old.  We are talking rather large bucks (insulin pump, etc). Any words of wisdom on how to handle this, would be greatly appreciated. Regards, jp
