I get this horrible pain in my stomach area after I eat and I have had loss of appatite and nausea. The nausea comes when I think about food and the pain is after I eat. I dont want to eat cause I am afraid it mite hurt. It doesnt hurt every time I eat, but at least one meal a day. The pain feels like it is all over my stomach area. It feels like some one is stabbing me in thefront of my stomach and on the sides. Some times I feel the pain in my lower back (both sides). Can you help? I dont want to go to the doctor if it is something I can fix my self. Plus, because I am young (25, female) they usually dont believe any thing could be wrong and I hate feeling stupid. Hope you can help. Thank you!

Hi,
One of the important causes of abdominal pain following eating which radiate to back is pancreatitis.
Consult your gastroenterologist for necessary investigations like CT abdomen, upper GI endoscopy.
