Mood: tlcha I have been on 5 htp and mucuna prueins and so far it's not helping the anxiety . I haven't felt good on it yet. I have been just over 2 years now with anxiety daily and now I have depression. Docotr blames it on hormones. My neurotransmitters are low too.When does it get better. I have had it all really, and yes it effects all those areas. Sounds to me like its both nerves and muscles. You may need to go to a neurologist, just to rule stuff out, and and ENT. ENT are the ones the recognise this disorder. THen he will send you to a maxillofacial surgeon, but first try a dentist that specializes in TMJ-TMD. That is always the way to start, but find someone that has years of experience. Hope this helps.
