Welcome to Smoking Addiction Forum.
This forum is for questions and support for people with, or for loved ones of people who smoke and are trying to quit. The forum covers topics ranging from
Cessation Programs and Products,
Health Issues,
How to Quit, Reasons to Quit, Relapse Prevention, Friend and Family Support.
You absolutely need to go through an emergency room and get into a hospital bed so they can give you all the tests immediately, not over a period of time.
Your post is on the smoking addiction board and not the medical doctor board. We are somkers or ex-smokers here and are not qualified to answer you.
I wish you luck and please let us know how you are doing.
i am proud of giving up and will never go back to smoking and would help anyone who wants to quit,,,,and thank you for ur reply
I used Chantix and had absolutely no extreme effects. A bit of upset stomach was the worst of it. I took it for a month and a half and have been quit for 1 year and 1 month!
There are times when I still feel and urge, especially when stressed, but it goes away in mere seconds and it doesn't happen often : )
I hope you feel better with each day and thanks for offering your help. We can all use it : )

congrats to you well done ,,
im just about bac to my old self now its only my co ordination and balance thats taking abit of time to come back but still smoke free
More then anything, you really have to prepare yourself for your quit. What helped me a great deal was reading all of the articles at whyquitdotcom
My experience with Chantix wasn't bad at all. There are some who weren't as lucky so you might want to read through the forum and see what everyone has to say about it. I smoked for 38 years and was able to quit after 6 weeks on the pill so I was in that 44%.
Support is so important so make sure you surround yourself with positive people and we are here for you should you need us : )
Good luck!

I smoked for 38+ years and I am happy to say that I am "quit" over a year. I still read the articles at whyquitdotcom as I don't ever want to have to go through this again : )
Keep us posted on your progress and remember that we are here to help you.
