Joints popping getting really old

My hip is stiff and hurting and I have all kinds of joints that sort of get stuck and need popping.
Does this really ever get better with treatment? My shoulder when I move my arm feels like it's rubbing bone on bone.
Sometimes when I breath or move my spine cracks.
All of this feels awful.
Just wondering if anyone has anything similar?
