What about motivation,we all need that to succeed and you must have a reason for not allowing yourself to succeed, maybe it is what you want to succeed at that is not right for you, perhaps you are looking in the wrong direction.Search out places and ideas and poeple who interest you maybe something will come to you if you go in that direction.Good Luck

Set small and simple achievable goal. One success will bring another success. By and increase the goal's toughness and thus your capacity to archive better goals. One failure does not mean life failure.Changing attitude towards work environment will do the trick
Imagary is apowerful technique to achieve goals. One has to picturize what he wants to do.Picturize as if you you are already a success..Tne more powerful the picturization the more probability of success.

One of the most commonCommon cold reasons for not allowing yourself to succeed is a fearFears and phobias of failing. I'm not saying this is what is going on but I have the same problem.
I spent 7 years in college because I was so afraid to leave and get a job fearing I would fail. I knew I was smart enough to do the job but was so afraid I couldn't. I just kept taking more and more classes avoiding graduation. And when I finally did graduate I took a job I was over qualified for so that I had less chance of failing. But I had to get jobs where I made my own schedual. I could never take on the responsibility of having to be in everyday until two years ago and it was only because I found a job I really loved that I was able to take on the responsibility of not having control of my own schedual.
Everyone is right..the mind is a very powerful thing. Visualizing things can really help. Like a self fufilling prophecy..if you think your going to fail and put alot of energy twords that fearFears and phobias than theer is a greater chance that will happen. But if you see yourself succeeding then it helps lend energy to the positive.
Maybe go to the bookstore and get a book on visualization. There are tons of em and most of them are really helpful. Some have workbook in them to help guide you through exersizes.
