Hi There
please check your profile to see if it is accurate.

If you are 24 years old, the most common reasons for abnormal bleeding in women include:

pregnancy
infection
hormonal imbalance

An ER visit can be helpful to check for serious complications of pregnancy such as an ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy in an abnormal place like the fallopian tube) or incomplete miscarriage.

But you need to make a connection with a women's center with a nurse practitioner or doctor who can evaluate you for infection and hormonal imbalances. You also need a pap smear which is a screen for cervical cancer.

While cervical cancer is rare at 24 , it is not unheard of . A tumor or growth on the cervix can cause abnormal bleeding

take care
