Which is good?

I am looking for a medical insurance plan that covers a whole family of three members. I have s sister who is a nail technologist so she does not have insurance by her employer. I am looking for a plan that covers about 50-80% of medical costs that allows: surgery, hospitalizations, medications, laboratory, radiology, basic care, I would also appreciate any recommended dental and vision plans. All these must be affordable--preferably under 300/mo. Thanks.

Dear xxngdaukhoxx,

I can’t provide you with a specific recommendation without more information. But here are a couple suggestions:

Talk to a licensed agent.  It doesn’t cost anything more, and a licensed agent can help you see what’s available in your area.  For the broadest selection, find an agent that represents multiple insurance companies.  If you’re fairly young and healthy, you may have some surprisingly affordable options.

Check out free quotes online.  Visit a licensed online agency like eHealthInsurance.com, where I work.  Through our site, for example, you can get free quotes, compare plans side by side, read customer reviews, get answers to frequently asked questions, and apply for coverage online.  We have licensed agents available by phone (1-800-977-8860) and online chat as well.

Best of luck,

Amir Mostafaie
