My other thought is that you may have at one time caught a virus that has weakend your immunity to other bugs. Glandular fever is one that often makes the sufferrer vulnerable to many other bugs. The best advice I can give you is to do a diary of all the bugs and colds you are suffering including symptoms, dates and what you currently do to remedy them (lemsip etc) and then take this diary along to your doctor to get his advice and possibly arrange for a blood test to see if you do have a weakened immune system
Best of luck
Jenny
(im also sufferring with a cold at the moment, but rarely get them so sympathise with you having to live your life dogged by them)
I would recommend in paying for a flu jab each Autumn to minimise your risk of a more serious infection.
Let us know how you get on with the journal and the doctors outcome
Best wishes
