Lower Attenuation

by Mechegirl, Nov 07, 2008 02:40PM
I recently went in to have a CT scan for my lower bowels, but found out they all were  fine. But they found a 2cm focus of lower enhancement of lower attenuation in the liver just anterior to the porta hepatis on immediate postcontrast views only of questionable significance. Recommend MRI to determine if there is any further of evidence of a lesion. I had a hysterectomy and no Uteran Cancer. So could you  give me any ideas why this would show up. I also have a grandmother(Mothers Mom) that died of colon and liver cancer. Could you  please help define.
