Chinchilla ear

My chinchilla has been keeping her left ear folded donw, and it feels really hot to the touch, unlike her other which is cool, almost cold, is there something wrong with her, I'm worried, she's about 2 1/2 or 3 yrs old. should I take her to the vet or will she be okay?

I've never heard of this before. But i also havnt owned a chinchin yet. I'd do some research on the net about it, gather what you find and determine if you think its dire to seek vet help. If it gets to where she/he seems in pain do not hesitate in taking chinchin to the vet.
